Reallocate the ₹50,000 weekly ad budget

From: Priya Nair, Head of Insights

Weekly performance is below. We currently split ₹50,000 equally across three channels.

Send me a memo (120 to 250 words): how would you reallocate next week, and why? Remember: conversions pay the bills, not clicks.

This is an excellent, highly actionable proposal. You correctly identified that Google Search is our most efficient channel at ₹85 per conversion and rightly prioritized it with a ₹30,000 allocation. Your decision to maintain Instagram for volume at ₹141 per conversion while scaling back Facebook to a ₹5,000 testing budget shows strong strategic thinking. You avoided the common pitfall of chasing high click volumes, recognizing that clicks do not equal conversions. To make this even stronger, you could have explicitly calculated the projected conversion increase this new budget mix would yield. Overall, this is a very professional, data-driven recommendation that I can share directly with leadership.

How it works

A week at Meridian Retail Co.

Meridian is a simulated retailer with a real product catalogue, real numbers and a management team who expect things by Friday. The work, the reviews and the certificate are real. The company is the set.

A brief lands on your desk

Priya, your manager, sends real work with real numbers: a budget to split, a funnel to diagnose, a quarter to close. Every brief says how long it should take and what it will be scored on.

  2. 2 of 7

You do the work, in your words

A memo, a worksheet, a five-slide deck, or something you build with AI tools and hand in as a link or a PDF. Use AI to help if you like; the briefs that ask you to grade how well you drove it. Twenty to thirty minutes, most of them.

  3. 3 of 7

Priya reads it like a manager

Three scores out of five, feedback that names the specific thing to fix, and a verdict: approved, or revise and resubmit. Nothing generic, because she has read what you actually wrote.

  4. 4 of 7

Sent back is the normal path

92% of students who revised a brief scored higher the second time. The review exists for the second draft.

  5. 5 of 7

Someone from outside the team calls

A client renewal, a courier contract, a creator fee: four exchanges with a counterpart who has a limit you cannot see. The CCO reads the transcript and grades questions asked against concessions given.

  6. 6 of 7

The CCO asks about your own work

Before any certificate, a live question-and-answer session about the briefs you submitted. Not a quiz. Answer by chat, or by voice to earn Distinction.

  7. 7 of 7

A body of work, and a certificate anyone can check

One public page with every approved brief: what you made, the score on each line, the manager's review, and the executive's verdict from each live moment. A recruiter can read what you wrote. The certificate links to it.

What gets measured

Eight skills. Every brief. Same standard.

Each brief is scored on three of these. Your profile builds as you work, so by the end you know what you are good at and what to work on next, in plain words.

Clarity
Whether a busy person understands your work on one read, and whether it is pitched for them.
Structure
Whether the piece is built in an order that carries the reader, rather than in the order you thought of things.
Use of data
Whether you used the actual numbers you were given, correctly, to support what you claim.
Rigour
Whether you checked your own work: the arithmetic, the assumptions, and what the data does not say.
Insight
Whether you saw something past the obvious — the reading someone else would have missed.
Judgement
Whether you chose well under constraint, and were honest about what your choice costs.
Actionability
Whether someone could act on this on Monday morning.
AI workflow
How well you drove the AI tool, and whether you improved on what it gave back.

How a review is scored

What you finish with

A body of work that can be read, and a certificate that can be checked.

Every student gets one public page with every approved brief on it: the memo, the deck, the file they made, the score on each rubric line, the manager's review, and what the CCO said in the meeting, the crisis drill, the negotiation and the defense. The certificate links to it. Recruiters open the link. There is nothing to take on trust.

  • Issued only when every brief in the track is approved
  • The work itself is on the page, not just the titles
  • Portfolio defended to the CCO before it is released
  • Distinction for a defense given live, by voice
  • A second track earns a second certificate

From the survey

What the last batches said

From the college's own feedback survey: 43 responses, September 2026, averaging 4.0 out of 5 on whether they would recommend AIntern.

The Capstone was excellent and truly taught me how to build audit-ready, enterprise-level AI finance workflows.
Finance & Accounts intern, TYBCOM 2026

Decisions, made early

What we don't do

No invented numbers.

Every count on this site is read from the database when the page loads. Every quote is from the survey, attributed by track and batch.

No AI-detection.

Detectors guess, and a guess should not decide a grade. The defense does the job instead: you answer questions about your own work, live.

No pretending the jobs haven't changed.

Every track says what the AI has taken from the role and what is left. The briefs test what is left: briefing the AI, editing it, checking it against the numbers, deciding.

No paying to pass.

A certificate is issued by the rules or not at all. There is nothing to buy anywhere on this site.

No ads, and no selling data.

Students bring their own free AI key and we host the rest. What we store, and why, is written down in plain words.
