Most of my classmates had never been handed a piece of work, told what it would be judged on, and sent back to fix it. AIntern is my answer to that.
Who makes it

I am a student, and alongside my studies I work part-time building AI solutions. AIntern started with a look around my own classroom. Most of my classmates did not really know what work means: what a brief looks like, what a manager expects back, what happens when it is not good enough. A theoretical curriculum does not prepare anyone for that.
And the work itself is changing under our feet. The skills employers now ask for are AI skills: knowing what to hand to a model, what to check, and what to decide yourself. Students have to adapt to that before their first job, not during it.
So I built the thing I wished we had: a desk at a company, a manager who reads what you send, a director who asks why, and a certificate that shows the work behind it. It is free for students because the students I built it for could not have paid for it.
What it is
A simulated company with real standards.
Meridian Retail Co. does not exist, but its numbers add up, its briefs have deadlines, and its manager sends work back. Students spend four weeks there as interns, ship eight to ten deliverables, defend them to the CCO, and leave with a certificate whose public page lists everything behind it.
Shaped by two batches
Built with the first students, not just for them.
A commerce college's students and teachers were the first users, and most of what you see came from them: the rubric shown before you write, the revise-and-resubmit loop, the practice defense, the feedback form before the certificate. When a batch asked for something in four different ways, it got built.
How it is built
Free tiers all the way down.
The site runs on Next.js at Vercel, with Supabase for the database and sign-in, Brevo for email, and Google's Gemini models for the manager, the copilot and the defense. Students bring their own free Gemini key, which is the reason there is no price on this page.
What we don't do
Four early decisions.
- No invented numbers: every count on the site is read live.
- No AI-detection: the defense does that job, honestly.
- No paying to pass: there is nothing to buy.
- No ads, and no selling data.
