The deal, in plain words.

AIntern is a work-experience platform. Meridian Retail Co. is a simulated company inside it: the briefs, the data, the manager and the colleagues are written for training. Nobody is employed there and no real business is being run.

You do the briefs, an AI manager reviews them against a rubric and either approves them or sends them back, and at the end you can earn a certificate that anyone can check.

It records that a named person completed a set of deliverables on a track, that each one was reviewed and approved, and that they answered questions about their own work before it was issued. The verification page shows the same facts to anyone with the code.

It is not a degree, a diploma, a government qualification, or evidence of employment. It does not say you worked anywhere. We describe it that way everywhere on this site, and we ask you to describe it that way too.

One account per person, in your own name, because that name goes on the certificate. Use an email address you can actually reach, or you will not be able to reset your password.

Your password is yours to keep safe. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

Everything you write here belongs to you. You can quote it, publish it, put it in a portfolio, show it to an employer.

We store it to run the internship, to show your teacher if you joined through a college batch, and to show on your own public page if you switch that page on. It is off by default. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not train models on it.

The Privacy page sets out exactly what is stored, why, and who can see it.

Scores and feedback are produced by an AI model. It is good, and it is not always right. It can misread a number, miss the point of something clever, or be harsher or softer than a person would be.

So: it is not a grade, and it carries no academic weight on its own. If you joined through a college, your teacher sees your work and their judgement sits above the model's. If a review looks plainly wrong, write to us and we will look at it.

Most people add their own free key from an AI provider so their reviews run instantly on their own allowance. That key stays yours. It is encrypted, used only to make requests for you, and never shown to anyone in the clear.

When you use your own key, your work is processed under your agreement with that provider, on their terms. You can remove the key at any time in Settings.

Do not hand in someone else's work as your own. The point of this is that the work is yours; a certificate on top of borrowed work is worth nothing to you and damages it for everyone else.

Do not create accounts for other people, share an account, or try to get a certificate without doing the briefs.

Do not attack the platform, try to reach other people's data, scrape it, or use it to generate anything unlawful or abusive.

We do not run AI-text detectors on your writing, and we do not intend to. Using AI to think with is part of the job now, and several briefs ask you to do exactly that. Handing in something you have not read, understood and corrected is a different thing, and it shows.

You can generate your own practice track for a field we do not cover. Those run on your own AI key and never issue a certificate. They are a sandbox, and they are marked as one.

If someone repeatedly hands in other people's work, abuses the platform or other users, or attacks the service, we will close the account and withdraw any certificate issued from it.

We will tell the person why, to the address on the account, and they can reply.

We do not promise you a job, an interview, or that any employer or institution will recognise the certificate. Some will find it useful. That is different from a guarantee, and anyone who guarantees you that is selling you something.

We do not promise the service will never be down. It is run on free infrastructure and sometimes a model provider is slow or unavailable. We will not lose your submitted work.

Free for students, with no card anywhere. If that ever changes, it will not change for work you have already done or a certificate you already hold, and you will be told before anything is asked of you.

You can delete your account and your work from Settings, on your own, without asking us. Withdrawing your agreement is meant to be as easy as giving it.

If you hold a certificate, deleting your account also stops its verification link resolving, which means nobody can check it any more. The page will tell you that before you confirm, so you can decide.

The date at the top changes with them, and you will be asked to agree again the next time you sign in. Nothing is changed quietly behind you.
